Therapeutic Bodywork
Healing and well-being begin with feeling supported in your own body.
With more than 25 years of experience in hospice, palliative care, and oncology settings, I bring a thoughtful, individualized approach to therapeutic bodywork. My work combines clinical knowledge, skilled touch, and an understanding of the physical and emotional experiences that shape our well-being.
Whether you're seeking relief from discomfort, support during or after an illness or recovery from surgery, or seeking to relax and restore, each session is tailored to your unique needs.
Therapeutic Massage
Therapeutic massage is an individualized approach to relieving muscular tension, easing discomfort, improving mobility, restoring physiological quieting, and supporting overall well-being.
Each session is tailored to your body's needs, combining skilled therapeutic techniques with a thoughtful, compassionate approach.
Lymphatic Drainage
Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is a gentle, specialized hands-on technique designed to encourage the movement of lymphatic fluid and support the body's natural lymphatic function.
MLD can be beneficial for individuals experiencing certain types of swelling, including lymphedema, as well as those recovering from surgery or managing conditions that affect lymphatic circulation.
As a Certified Lymphedema Therapist, I bring specialized training and clinical experience to each session, carefully adapting treatment to your medical history, individual needs, and treatment goals.
There are times in life when the body needs a different kind of care. During illness, medical treatment, or periods of physical vulnerability, compassionate touch can offer a welcome sense of comfort, connection, and peace.
For more than 25 years, I have had the privilege of working alongside individuals and families navigating serious illness, cancer treatment, and the complexities of living with changing health. This work has taught me that sometimes the most meaningful care is simply helping someone feel comfortable, supported, and at ease in their own body.
Oncology and palliative massage are gentle, thoughtfully adapted forms of therapeutic bodywork that honor each person's individual needs and circumstances. Whether the goal is easing discomfort, encouraging relaxation, or simply experiencing the reassurance of caring touch, each session is guided by sensitivity, respect, and a deep appreciation for the person or family member receiving care.
